Multitudes at YS

Multitudes brings together figurative works examining how women perceive their own bodies and how others perceive them. Working across trace monotype, collage, and giclée print, the pieces explore shared bodily experiences, including aging, menstruation, sisterhood, childbirth, and menopause, through non-idealized figures and non-traditional poses. Layered lines and materials construct complex perspectives, sometimes incorporating multiple viewpoints within a single work. The figures move between being separate individuals and parts of the same woman, shaped by experiences that are at once deeply personal and widely shared.
