I am an award winning Michigan artist with a background in fine art and interior design. Though 2D mediums are my first love, I enjoy exploring and combining a wide array of materials. I like to fill my drawings and paintings with little surprises: clay, fabric, metal, buttons - especially objects I've collected that have a memory or story associated with them. In addition to traditional artwork, I enjoy crafting art dolls and upcycling clothing and handbags, all one of a kind. For my "day job", I teach art to creators of all ages and abilities at nonprofits throughout the Great Lakes Bay region, and am especially passionate about working with artists with disabilities and mental health struggles.

I believe in the healing power of creativity, and I am blessed to see every day how creation sparks joy in both the creator and those around them. I believe everyone is an artist. Each person on earth has the ability to do something creative that can touch another person, and it is never too late to begin.
