Alissa Van Atta is a contemporary mixed media artist based in the Asheville, North Carolina area. Combining collage, acrylic, resin, and porcelain sculpture, her work explores femininity, identity, memory, and transformation through imagery drawn from vintage advertising, fashion photography, and popular culture..

She earned a BFA in Painting and Art History from UNC Charlotte and spent her high school years at the American School of Paris. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including The Other Art Fair, LA Art Show, Art Miami, ArtExpo New York, and Superfine Art Fair, and is held in private collections throughout the United States.
