I am interested in the way combinations and contrasts can work - how sharpness can be softened, how fragility can become a strength. Looking at the ever-changing nature of the world around: the subtle and soft colours, the things which may escape the eye, and what it takes to notice these subtleties.

Through the mediums of photography, textile, and paper, I am attempting to bring the pieces together to represent that balance between soft and hard, the structured and the elusive. Finding the home for these elements to exist together complimenting each other, and in such a way looking for the balance within and in the places we inhabit.
