About the artist

Lucille Ireland

American

1908-1983

Lucille R. Ireland was well known for her Abstract Modernist Paintings. Born in 1908, she lived on the Mainline until her death in 1983. Her work was exhibited at the Stabler Gallery in New York during the 1950’s. She served as the Vice President for the Painter’s Workshop of Mainline Center of the Arts and is listed in “Women Artists in America.”
