b. 1995

Timon YC I (b.1995) is an oil painter born in Minnesota, raised in Hong Kong, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn. His past living experiences in rural and urban areas have inspired him to explore environmental narratives through oil paint. Graduated with a BFA in illustration at the School of Visual Arts and an MFA in painting at the New York Academy of Art, he has been participating in group exhibitions in the US and Asia since. He also had his first solo exhibition, ‘Elements in Space,’ at VillageOne Art Gallery in New York in 2023, and was included in the Volta Art Fair with the gallery two months later. His works can be found in juried exhibitions-in-prints, such as Friend of the Artist.
