Her work centers on the theme of “memory reconstruction and ways of seeing,” her inspiration comes from figures, interior spaces, plants, animals, and scenes from everyday life. She explores the subtle relationships between perception, emotion, and memory. Growing up between Chinese and American cultural contexts, many familiar scenes from her memories have gradually become blurred, distant, and strangely intimate. These shifting recollections are reassembled in her paintings, forming a visual atmosphere that feels both close and dreamlike.
