About the artist

Nianxin Li

Li Nianxin is a comprehensive media artist who was born in Chongqing, China. From 2017 to 2020, she went to the Florence Academy of Fine Arts to study painting. Out of her obsession with various cultural aesthetics, she moved to New York in 2021, and went to School of Visual Arts in New York City with a scholarship. She integrates various cultural backgrounds and focuses on the delicate relationship between the virtual world and the physical world: opposition, development, existence and nothingness. Paintings, animations, and installations are the bridges she uses to explore the virtual and the real.
