About the artist

Erica Lennard

American

b. 1950

American photographer. Studied at the San Francisco Art Institute. Known for photographs of internationally renowned gardens. Trekked across the globe in search of visions of nature tamed or untamed by man alongside archeological sites. Some of her works include photos of Japanese Zen gardens, European palace gardens, the temples of Angkor Wat, pyramids of Egypt, etc. Worked commercially in magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Interview, and Rolling Stone as a fashion photographer and developed advertising campaigns for fashion designers such as Perry Ellis.
