American photographer. Professor of Art at the University of Florida and recipient of Guggenheim Fellowship (1967) and National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship (1972). Known for his photomontages. Creates juxtapositions of the everyday and the fantastic; interested in the border between reality and the surreal.
