About the artist

Teresa A. Cole

American

b. 1961

Artist based in New Orleans, best known for her installation print work. Cole studied at the MICA in Baltimore, MD and earned her BFA in fiber. However, she gained most of her knowledge in printmaking while working as a member of Peacock Printmakers in Aberdeen, Scotland. Cole earned her MFA in printmaking at the Cranbrook Academy of Art, MI. She currently teaches printmaking at Tulane University. Cole has had many foreign residencies at places such as Hard Ground Printmakers, Cape Town, South Africa and Frans Masereel Graphics Center, Kasterlee, Belgium.
