About the artist

Larry Clark

American

b. 1943

American photographer and filmmaker. Clark is best known for his unfiltered portrayal of youth culture. He studied commercial photography before working as an assistant for his mother's portrait photography business. He has had solo exhibitions in many museums including Musee d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Taka Ishii Gallery in Tokyo, and the International Center of Photography in New York. Currently works in New York.
