About the artist

John Grazier

American

1946-2022

John Grazier attended the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC and later the Maryland Institute of Art. He is known for his use of crosshatching and warped perspective in line drawings of mundane objects, often in lonely settings. He calls his work "paradoxical precisionist images" inspired by his "lucid dreams."
