b. 1938

German painter, printmaker, and sculptor. Growing up in war-torn Germany, he embraced the lack of order and pursued a unique artistic style. He is known for his raw and emotive style in depicting human forms and his upside down figures and landscapes that engage both the artist and the viewer in a unique way.
