About the artist

Steven D. Gagnon

American

b. 1973

American painter, printmaker, and sculptor. Gagnon grew up in Florida and spent one year during college in Europe, after which he came to Miami Beach for an artist residency and has been based in the city from then on. So far, he has created five projects which he has shown at various venues, including both 2008 Presidential Conventions, the Fotofest biennial in Houston, and art fairs in Miami, New York City, Palm Beach, and in the German cities of Berlin and Cologne. Gagnon is known for his large scale, interdisciplinary video installations in addition to his work in painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
