About the artist

Harold Stephen Baldwin

American

1942-2019

Harold Stephen Baldwin (American, 1942-2019) was an artist (primarily in painting) and floral designer. A native to Charlotte, NC, he attended American Floral Art School in Chicago, IL, and later Central Piedmont Community College, where he studied Commercial Art and Advertising Design. He served as president of the Charlotte Art League, won awards for his floral designs, and became known for garden design.
