About the artist

Park McArthur

American

b. 1984

American artist. McArthur trained as a painter before turning to sculpture, earning a degree in Studio Art from Davidson College in 2006. She uses her work to alter the status quo and give a voice to marginalized communities, focusing on questions of access for and exclusion of people with disabilities and prejudices. She was a recipient of the Wynn Newhouse Award (2014).
