About the artist

Ron Chapple

American

b. 1957

Ron Chappel is a three time Emmy award winning and Pulitzer prize winner for Exploratory Journalism. Chappel is a photographer and cinematographer of mainly landscapes and aerial views, though also has done fashion photography. He has been a part of various films such as The Giver (2014) and The Last Ice (2020). Chappel grew up in Flemington, New Jersey and graduated from Davidson College in 1979.
