About the artist

Lisa Mackie

American

b. 1947

Lisa Mackie is a master printmaker based in New York City. She has over 40 years of experience in lithography, etching, as well as Western and Asian paper-making. She earned a BFA and MFA in painting and printmaking from University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin. She is the proprietor of Lisa H. Mackie Studios, an open, contract, fine art print shop established in NYC, 1990. Her clients include artists such as Marylyn Dintenfass, Amy Ernst, and Grace Hartigan.
