About the artist

James Bruss

b. 1944

American printmaker. He has M.F.A., M.A., from the University of Wisconsin in Printing and Printmaking, and a B.S. in Art Education. From 1972 to 2000, he was first Assoc. Professor to Professor of the Columbus College of Art and Design. He exhibited widely in the Midwest, receiving Art Midwest (N.E.A. Regional Visual Arts Fellowship Grant) in 1986 and the Business/Arts Partnership Award in Columbus in 1991.
