Canadian mixed media artist. Work is based on recontextualization, biopolitics, and subversion within contemporary culture. The destruction of language and identity are themes that figure prominently in an examination of relationships between body, place, space, and people. Since his HIV+ diagnosis, his work has become an outlet for his anger and advocacy in which he has been inspired to find his own voice within the context of disease and adversity using art as action against stigma, apathy, and surrender.
