About the artist

Ray Kleinlein

American

b. 1969

Ray Kleinlein is a painter who studied at the Ohio State University and the Columbus College of Art and Design and earned his MA in painting and art history from Ohio University. He has received many awards, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Professional Fellowships (twice) and a prize in the Miami University National Young Painters Competition. He has been featured in the magazines such as New American Paintings and Southern Living. His works have been featured across the US including in The Canton Museum of Fine Art, The Zanesville Museum of Art, The Southern Ohio Museum, and Davidson College. Kleinlein is represented by the Paul Thiebaud Gallery in San Francisco, California; the Parker Gallery on Sea Island, Georgia; the Keny Gallery in Columbus, Ohio; and the Cumberland Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee.
