Linda Foard Roberts

American

b. 1961

Linda Foard Roberts is an American photographer whose work is deeply rooted in themes of memory, time, and the personal narrative. She earned her BFA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her MFA in photography from Arizona State University. Known for her use of traditional darkroom techniques, Roberts creates hand-printed, silver gelatin photographs often toned in sepia, imbuing her images with a sense of timelessness. Her work is included in the permanent collections of institutions such as the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Mint Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Through her intimate and meditative approach, Roberts invites viewers to slow down and consider the emotional weight of everyday life.
