About the artist

Marvin Lowe

American

1922-2010

American printmaker and painter. Attended University of Iowa in the printmaking program under Mauricio Lasansky, internationally renown printmaker. Taught at Berea College in Kentucky and Bucknell University in Pennsylvania before he joined Indiana University faculty to build the Printmaking Workshop alongside Rudy Pozzatti and Wendy Calman. Collected works found in over eighty permanent collections.
