Michelle Davis Petelinz is a mixed media artist, art instructor, and art consultant based Raleigh.

"I am irresistibly drawn to incorporate symbols, patterns, textures and colors found in the African and Native American cultures which are my heritage. I often work in a series, visually exploring the cultural significance of decoration and symbology, and how color plays across various surfaces and textures.
