Since 2017, when Pereira decided to start her professional career, she has exhibited her work in several galleries in the USA, France, Australia, UK, Japan, Hong Kong... selling her paintings to collectors around the world.
The work of Karla reflects the beauty and power of femininity and precious creatures, creating a universe where beauty is exemplified through surreal proportions and dreamlike atmospheres.
Her oil paintings combine traditional painting methods with novel pop characters, presenting an interesting contrast in her works.
