Jacob's invitation to interpret his poem visually was an irresistible opportunity, given my enduring fascination with the power of words. For me, his piece, "How To Be A Poet," encapsulates the yearning to articulate the ineffable. To convey the essence of creation's rhythm and the enigmatic language described, I translated the words ‘and God saw that it was good’ from Genesis 1 into Morse Code and used this as the base layer. The imagery of scattered leaves and encroaching darkness explores themes of secrecy, glimpses into shadows, and the unknown journey we walk with God.
