A nest is a small, temporary architecture—a woven collection of twigs, feathers, grasses, scraps, and found things, carefully gathered and shaped into a place to begin. It is built for a purpose: to shelter, to nurture, to hold life. And then, inevitably, it changes.
This series explores the nests we build throughout our own lives and the many meanings we attach to the word home. How many homes do we create in a lifetime? How many do we leave behind, only to begin again somewhere else? What remains when the ones we built a home for no longer need us?
