The Guides
20 x 16

When I was younger, a toddler I was very much aware of my guides. My Earth Guide was a constant companion and playmate. He was a Native American, I called him The Indian.
My mom made me a little baby pillow while pregnant with me. I would put this pillow over my head when going to sleep. Inside the pillow lived my Mystic. He was very much like the Wizard of Oz. He answered all of my questions in a booming loud threatening voice. His voice alone kept my questions to a minimum.
My Angel has yet to make a formal appearance, yet I know she is always there. And I have been blessed with Earth Angels for most of my life, also known as Maria and David.
My Earth Guide stands to my left. My Mystic Guide stands directly behind me and my Angel is to my right.
Recently, as early as this year, I’ve been introduced to my guides once again. Today’s Earth Guide is much like Robin Hood, my Mystic is The Lady of the Lake and my Angel has the most beautiful wings.
I may not always be aware of my guides, yet I am confident they are always with me.
Keeping the brushes wet,
Teresa
