Galina Veretenova is an artist-painter. She was born in China and spent her childhood in Kazakhstan. 

As a teenager, she moved to Russia, where she received a technical higher education with a degree in process engineering. Despite a successful career and family life, fate presented difficult trials, which entailed a crisis and loss of life guidelines. In search of answers to why everything is happening this way and the desire to change her life, Galina turned to spiritual practices and ethical communities that had the Bible at the heart of changing oneself and learning about the world around her. 

In 1998, the most important event in Galina's life took place, she realized and sincerely believed in Jesus Christ. 

And she discovered His spiritual world, love, light, harmony, and inspiration, which transformed her understanding, perception, and attitude toward herself and the world around her, making it a reality for her in everything. 

The gift of the Creator in painting was unexpectedly revealed 6 years ago in 2019. The process of reproducing love, beauty, power, and harmony through picturesque paintings moves Galina. She purposefully develops herself as an artist. First, independent research of materials, mastering painting techniques, and then studying and completing the online course "How to Become a Real Artist" in the studio of Olga Bazanova, obtaining a state diploma in 2024. 

Today, Galina lives and is engaged in creativity in the United States. She creates paintings filled with love, light and harmony. Her paintings are reflections of spiritual values, inner state, observation and gratitude to the Creator. 

Galina's works are in private collections in Australia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, Ecuador. 

Artist Statement

I believe that the spirit world is real. 

It acts and shapes consciousness, perception, attitudes, values, meaning of life, and purpose. It manifests itself in all spheres of human activity: in the family, study, work, science, politics, and, of course, in art. 
Questions about the causes of destruction, disease, enmity, and death prompted me to seek answers. This path of search led me to the Creator, to the source of life, love, intelligence, and strength. Through the study of the Living Ethics and the foundations laid down in the Bible, I gained faith in Jesus Christ - the source of light and truth. 
I create paintings filled with light, love, harmony and beauty. 
For me, this is an act of spiritual service. Through art, I strive to share spiritual values and awaken love, hope and the desires for good in the viewer. 

Each image on the canvas becomes a reflection of this inner light and conveys it to the viewer.  My aspiration is to create the beautiful, pure, powerful, always existing, like nature itself. 

I am inspired by the grandeur, the immensity of the oceans, the splendor of the landscapes, the richness and beauty of the underwater kingdom, the diversity of the animal world. And in flowers, I express charm, variety of shapes, brightness, freshness and fragrance, whether it is delicate delicacy or bold saturation. 
Each painting is created with love for those who need harmony, inspiration, peace, joy or just a reminder of the presence of beauty in this wonderful world created for us by the Creator. This is my gift and my message to the viewer: art filled with love has the power to heal, inspire and work miracles.
