An almost mystical forest scene is created with blues and lilacs, with accents from darker blues, purples and burgundy wine colours. Distant light suggests early morning. A mid-ground blue suggests a body of water. Warmer tones define a pathway through the layers of trees towards the water.
Complex textures create detail that draws the eye in from a distance and from a close view.
The tree shapes are primarily composed of tissue and rice papers that were created using a gelli-print method.
