“Not Built Like That” is part of the “Portrait of a Woman” project and has an interesting origin story. She was created as a result of an online art challenge. I was making Art Works in response to music. This piece was created while listening to the song by Curtis Salgado entitled “I’m not made that way“. The song and the self portrait intertwine to exemplify ideas of who we are and what we believe as we construct our inner moral compass. Print edition 50
