"Muted" is an abstract minimalistic composition of a white surface enriched with layers of textures and intricate mark making. This mixed media creation combines elements such as canvas on canvas, oil, cold wax, beach sand, graphite, and crayon, meticulously assembled on a 16.75" x 16.75" x 2.5" wood panel. Framed in a natural wood gallery floating frame, "Muted" captures the serene yet complex beauty inspired by urban envirorment. Experience the serene elegance and tactile depth that embodies the essence of non-representational abstract art bySteve McHugh. This abstract composition primarily done in a white foreground over subtle shades of black and faint yellow. It incorporates a mix of geometric shapes and lines, including squares, rectangles, and arcs, which overlap and intersect each other. The lines are primarily thin and delicate, with a few bold strokes. The texture of the painting adds depth, while the monochromatic palette with slight hints of color enhances the minimalistic yet complex design. The artwork is framed in a simple wooden frame, which contrasts with the intricate patterns within the piece. Sales tax and shipping added after destination is determined.
