This hanging quilt is a unique contemporary art design. Utilizing different shades of pink for the ground fabric, and denims for the triangles, the artist created an illusion of 3-dimensional prisms. The denim triangles are angled to point in the four different directions, all pointing to the border of the quilt, arranged in a larger triangle within the quilt. A large "X" design creates the four sections of triangles.

The zig-zag edge of the quilt emphasizes the triangular features of the quilt, and adds to the illusion of 3-dimensional prisms. Strips of brown were used around the edges as shadows and keep with the dimensional illusion. The pink ground with the denim triangles creates a gentle contrast that is mesmerizing.
