In Progress

The third portrait in the series, titled “I am from Malaland,” represents a lost symbol of human hope and change in the world. Malaland symbolizes a movement that fought against inequalities and injustices but has vanished from Earth.
This transhuman embodies the spirit of resistance that grew out of the struggles faced by Malaland. Their physical transformation into transhumans reflects the potential for personal and societal transformation that would be achieved through embracing technology and transcending the limitations of the human condition.
The transhuman figure in the artwork embodies courage and faith in a new era.
By showcasing the possibilities of transhumanism, the artwork invites viewers to reflect on the struggles of the past and embrace the potential for a more equitable and just society in the future.
-
In the context of the “deconstructed photography” Transhuman Series, the negative represents the flaws, limitations, and inequalities of the current human condition, while the positive signifies the potential for transformation, progress, and transcendence.
