These paintings deal with values in art other than associative or recognizable. I feel that I have accomplished nothing in art if I merely present to the viewer that which is already known. It is my hope that the viewer will look at these images with contemplation, or to put it another way, with the mind’s eye in order to perceive the mystery, the spiritual, or other values which may be there.

That which we call art, has always been a mystery to me and even more mysterious is the question. “Why is one compelled to create?” I only know that I have a insatiable desire to make art and Ii sincerely hope that you will enjoy my efforts.
