Pangolins, Amur tigers, giant pandas, gorillas, Sumatran elephants, African rhinos, cheetahs, giant salamanders, lemurs, and orangutans are a few of the endangered species. Their populations are declining due in part to destruction of habitats, demand for exotic pets, poaching for ivory and fur and pollution.
