-----

I've always been passionate about nature. I find it incredibly peaceful and inspiring. To try to capture the delicate essence of the cherry blossom petals I've used a pearlesque pigment in with the resin and created a petal texture with hand-cut petal leaves which overlap one another and create a sense of depth. Personally, I've never been a big fan of the colour pink, but with the cherry blossom series, I make an exception and have to confess I even have one in my own living room!!
