Ethnic America As a keen observer of her surroundings, Robin Antar’s Jewish heritage is portrayed in works that are inspired by the restaurants and delis she frequents in her Brooklyn neighborhood. In conjunction with her “What is America?” series, these stone monuments to Jewish food invite a contemplation of the ethnic traditions woven into the fabric of America’s culture.
