Brittany Osornio studied studio art and psychology at the University of Tennessee. She has enjoyed producing a wide range of artwork over the last two decades. “I've always been inspired by different textures and patterns and enjoy using layers and layers of paint to help create an image,” says Osornio. “I am constantly exploring different shapes and colors trying to create something unique and interesting.” Lately it’s been plants.

“I’ve been working on a small farm in Botetourt County,” says the artist. Recently she received her grower’s permit so that she can bring her own produce to the farmers markets this year. Creating art, growing plants, and studying the world around her go hand in hand for Osornio. “I’d like to inspire more people to become involved in the arts,” she says.
