Durante mucho tiempo me han intrigado los productos y herramientas para el acabado de paredes decorativas. En las décadas de 1980 y 1990 realicé muchos acabados de paredes y murales decorativos en los EE. UU. Fue muy satisfactorio y agradable crear efectos atmosféricos para acabados de paredes y fondos para mis murales. Pero eso fue hace mucho tiempo y con el tiempo pasé lentamente a las bellas artes y las pinturas de galería. Avance tan rápido hasta hoy, en la década de 2020 soy un expresionista abstracto, una alegría y un deleite diferente y especial.
Me he dado cuenta de que he reavivado esta parte de mi vida artística y ahora incorporo los muchos efectos especiales de los días de acabado de murales y paredes decorativas en algunos de mis abstract paintings actuales. Esta pintura es un claro ejemplo de los efectos atmosféricos que disfruto mucho. Espero que surja más de este tipo de técnica abstracta en mis futuras pinturas abstractas.

I have long been intrigued by decorative wall finishing products and tools. In the 1980s and 1990s I did many wall finishes and decorative murals in the US It was very satisfying and enjoyable to create atmospheric effects for wall finishes and backgrounds for my murals. But that was a long time ago and over time I slowly moved into fine art and gallery painting. Fast-forward to today, in the 2020s I am an abstract expressionist, a different and special joy and delight.
I have found that I have rekindled this part of my artistic life and now incorporate the many special effects from the days of finishing murals and accent walls into some of my current abstract paintings. This painting is a clear example of the atmospheric effects that I really enjoy. I hope that more of this kind of abstract technique will emerge in my future abstract paintings.
