"Among Giants" reflects my experience of the forest as a powerful, spiritual, living force formed by memories of living and hiking in British Columbia's dense rainforests. Inspired by Emily Carr's expressive vision of the West Coast landscape, I used dramatic forms, swirling brushstrokes, and bold colour to evoke the energy, movement, and awe I feel within these landscapes.
