Artist Statement "Stylistically my work draws from my background in printmaking, painting and large scale murals, recently focusing on CMYK color separations of images of the human form. By painting images by hand, I am able to gain more control while still referencing the printmaking processes. I'm particularly drawn to the human body's ability to shift meaning based on context. Figures, sourced diversely, mutate through my process, assuming new significance. As layers accumulate, images evolve, inviting viewers to contemplate both details and broader perspectives."
