One early winter day, a trout fisherman wades into the cool waters to cast his line towards a pool that promises a lively catch. The sounds are muffled by the thick blanket of fresh snow with only the rippling of the waters heard on the stream.

This original oil painting is mounted in a solid maple wood floater frame and is wired, ready to hang anywhere you want the reminder of to step outside for a winter adventure.

One of a series of original oil paintings by Pat Cross on people engaging the outdoors.
