A retired Doctor of Physical Therapy, Trombley brings a deep understanding of the human form and lived experience to her practice. She works primarily with acrylic paint and ink, incorporating fragments of reclaimed books and newspapers, textiles, and discarded packaging materials chosen both for their visual history and their environmental significance.
Jacqueline’s work has been recognized with the People’s Choice Award at the Midland Artist Guild Exhibition, and two of her pieces were juried into the Animals in Art Exhibition at Creative 360 in Midland, Michigan.
Trombley began her formal art training in high school and continued her education at the collegiate level. After transitioning from oils to acrylics, she pursued further study through online instruction, most notably with artist Jenny Grant, while developing her own distinctive style. She continues to create new work for upcoming exhibitions.
