The concept for 'DJ Nebula' struck me unexpectedly one evening while hosting a house party. As I pretended to DJ using pizzas (you had to be there!), the idea of Nebula as a DJ, spinning tracks based on Earth's vibe, took shape in my mind. I was so amused by the concept that I felt compelled to bring it to life through art.

In the artwork, Nebula is depicted surrounded by the planets of the solar system, each one grooving to her sick beats. The scene captures the cosmic energy of the universe, with Nebula serving as the ultimate DJ, tuned in to the rhythm of the Earth and beyond.

Using copic markers, I had a blast bringing this concept to life. The coloring process was especially enjoyable, as I experimented with vibrant hues to capture the pulsating energy of the cosmic dance floor. While this piece reflects a simpler style compared to some of my other work, it still manages to convey the fun and whimsy of the concept.

Recently, in 2024, I revisited 'DJ Nebula' digitally using Procreate, adding a fresh perspective to the artwork. This updated version can be found in my more recent portfolio entries, showcasing how my artistic style has evolved over time while still staying true to the playful spirit of the ORANGEINAL concept.
