Clay Wooten is a South Carolina artist, sculptor, and exhibit designer based in the Columbia area. His work spans sculpture, murals, woodworking, and creative exhibit design, with a particular interest in creating engaging, imaginative work for public and community spaces. He has contributed to several Columbia public art projects, including the colorful CityServe Mural, created with community volunteers at the Norman Arnold Boys & Girls Club.

Wooten is also the artist behind Her Heart, a large-scale steel sculpture honoring Columbia artist and arts advocate Anastasia Chernoff. The 12-foot-tall work, installed in the Congaree Vista in 2020, reflects Chernoff's lasting influence on Columbia's creative community.

In addition to his independent art practice, Wooten has worked as an exhibit designer at EdVenture Children's Museum, bringing his skills in fabrication, design, and hands-on creativity to educational environments.
