The handwritten text reads ‘once before it was tainted and faded there you stood,’ and the typed text reads ‘Insatiable curiosity.’ Cold wax is added between layers of paper to create a soft sheen and wrinkled surface. The edges of the painting are hand-sewn and delicate.
