About the artist

Anna Potapova

russian

b. 1974

My education is a textile artist. I tried myself in different directions and researched different materials until wool fell into my hands. At first I created small animal figures for my children. The more I created, the more interesting it became to explore the possibilities of wool. Now I create needle-felted sculptures and decorate them with silk and wet felt. I constantly participate in international exhibitions; I have several publications in magazines. In addition, I am engaged in teaching; I have many students all over the world
