As with several other works in my "All is Artifact" series I wanted to create an image that conjoined rather than separated habitats and biological categories. Here I've worked toward an image that appears to be an underwater botanical scape but whose layers are strictly of commercial nets and other gear stored in the terminal yards at Seattle's commercial fishing marina, Fisherman's Terminal, once a hub of Ballard, home to Seattle's commercial fishing fleet.
